I am 12 and I live in Brunswick Maine. I got into birding in 2019 when I went on a trip around the country. I love birding because it is a way for me to detach from the human world around me and focus on nature.

“Me and Birds”

Birds have been something of interest to me as long as I can remember. I had never really had a chance to dive into this interest in till I was looking around on the web and found ebird. I had within minutes created an account and was entering in the birds I was seeing around me. This was the beginning for me I had found an easy way to log and learn about the birds around me.
